Privacy
pi-fig does not collect any data. It has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no crash reporting, and it never connects to the internet.
pi-fig exists only to be used together with the pi-configurator software installed on Raspberry Pi devices as part of IoT projects. It talks to those devices over Bluetooth to change their settings, and nothing else.
- Settings you change, including Wi-Fi network names and passwords, are sent over an encrypted Bluetooth connection to your own Raspberry Pi and stored there. They are never sent to the developer or anyone else.
- If you choose to remember a device’s password, it is kept in your phone’s secure storage (the iOS Keychain or Android Keystore) and never leaves your phone.
- Bluetooth is used only to find and talk to your nearby devices, never to work out your location.
- Deleting the app removes everything it stored on your phone.
pi-fig is not directed at children. If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page.
Support
Support for pi-fig is provided through the project’s documentation, which covers installing pi-configurator on a Raspberry Pi, writing its config file and using the app:
